Sept. 12 - GlaxoSmithKline will launch GSK Oncology, a cancer-focused division that will combine drug-development teams with units under the company's Centre of Excellence for Drug Discovery. The move is part of GSK's strategy to create "a tighter connection between discovery and development," said Paolo Paoletti, GSK's senior vice president for oncology and head of the new unit. Reuters
